The Nigeria Association of Criminology, Terrorism & Political Violence Studies (NACT-PVS) is a membership body for scholars, students, individuals and companies with a keen interest in research and security studies.
The Association was formed in 2015 with the aim to unify professions and research in Criminology, Terrorism & Political Violence studies in Nigeria and Africa; to raise awareness and comprehensive approaches to the study of terrorism and political violence; to build a network of individual experts in relevant fields globally.
NACT-PVS is an established and independent organisation created for expanding research in the security industry. NACT-PVS has identified that there are no geographical boundaries in these concepts and the maximum technical standards are stringently applied in all our works. Our ambitions for the security industry and research programmes are of the highest grade. The Association operates within the framework of three categories and regions which include Nigeria-based experts in relevant fields, Nigerian diaspora experts in relevant fields and many overseas experts in relevant fields (this includes experts in relevant fields in Africa).
